This is an intervention to encourage the production of socially relevant literature especially for children and youths. WID believes Muslim women especially mothers can bring a fresh perspective to early education literature that shapes the worldview and socialization process of Muslim children. A session held with Professor of literature, Prof Ismaila Tsiga on October 15, 2019. Thereafter a Committee of existing and aspiring authors was set up to become a platform for producing needed literature and encourage reading culture among the populace. The Committee is headed by WID National Secretary, Zainab Umar.
